Holiday Stress!

As a therapist the holidays are one of the most difficult time of the year to navigate. The holidays are wrought with stress. We're already overworked, stressed about how to manage the added festive gatherings, and trying to find the right gift for everyone. But those things aren't the biggest issues that we work through during the holidays.

Below is a list of ten main issues (in no particular order) I have assisted my clients in working through over the years, including this one.

  1. Carona Virus

  2. Visitation/Custody

  3. In-law's

  4. Dysfunctional families

  5. Money

  6. Travel

  7. Depression and anxiety

  8. Loneliness

  9. Divorce

  10. Grief

If you are having a difficult time this holiday season, please reach out to a family member, friend, pastor, therapist, or a hotline.
